Candied Pecan

Candied Pecan steal the show, whether you sprinkle them over a crisp salad, toss them into a trail mix, or simply munch ‘em by the handful. Plus, they’re easy to make and are impressive to serve to the gang as an easy dessert. These sweet little nuggets are just perfect for adding a touch of sweet rebellion to your meal.

Ingredients
  
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
Instructions
 
  • In a small saucepan, mix 1 cup raw pecans with ¼ cup each sugar and water. Cook on medium-high heat until sugar starts to dissolve.

  • When the mixture starts to a boil, reduce to low, and cook for 7–10 minutes, stirring frequently. Cook until all liquid is absorbed.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange nuts in a single layer, separated from each other. Let them dry. Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
