Let’s Talk Smoothies - Learn how to crack the code to the perfect smoothie formula

Savour the Flavour of Health: The Ultimate Guide to Smoothie Bliss

There are endless possibilities when it comes to creating smoothie bliss. The process is like composing music except here you’re creating a symphony of nutrient-rich flavours. The secret is the art of ratios.

Crafting the Perfect Blend - All you need do is follow this basic formula:

Mix ratio for frozen fruit:

  • 2-parts liquid
  • 2-parts frozen items (combination of fruit and ice)
  • 1-part of other ingredients

Mix ratio for fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables:

  • 3-parts cold liquid
  • 4-parts fresh fruits and vegetables
  • 2-parts frozen fruits
  • 1-part other ingredients

Mix ratio for fresh fruit and vegetables:

  • 2-parts cold liquid
  • 4-parts fresh fruits and vegetables
  • 1-parts ice cubes (optional)
  • 1-part other ingredients

Try various combinations of dates, hemp seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, nut butters, maple syrup, etc. Use at least four different ingredients for a nice balance of flavour and texture. It is important to add in the liquid first and then place in the frozen items and top off with the other ingredients. Blend on high for 3-5 minutes or until smooth and creamy and serve.
