Easy Guacamole

If you've been searchin' high and low for a recipe that's big on flavour but small on effort, you've just hit the jackpot. Easy Guacamole is the culinary sheriff of Snack Town. This ain't your ordinary guac. Not only is it packed with creamy avocado goodness, but it's mixed with salsa, plus a whole lot of bold flavours. And here's the kicker – it's got half the calories of store-bought stuff and twice the deliciousness. We call that a win-win on the culinary frontier. Now, you've got options here. You can wrangle up some Fresh Tomato Salsa or take the easy trail with store-bought salsa. And if you're in a real pickle, you can even use some chopped tomato. But let's be clear: it's the bee's knees when you go the extra mile with Fresh Tomato Salsa. If, by some miracle, you've got any leftovers, it'll keep in the fridge for a few days, thanks to the lime juice and salt that keep everything fresh.

Ingredients
  
  • 1 slightly soft avocado
  • ½ cup Fresh Tomato Salsa or chopped fresh tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • â…› tsp garlic powder
  • â…› tsp onion powder
Instructions
 
  • Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the avocado flesh from both halves and place it in a bowl. Using a potato masher or fork, mash the avocado until smooth and creamy.

  • Add ½ cup Fresh Tomato Salsa, 2 tbsp chopped cilantro, 1 tbsp lime juice, ½ tsp ground cumin, ¼ tsp each cayenne pepper and salt, and â…› tsp each garlic powder and onion powder. Stir until well combined and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavour.
