Kiwi, Orange, and Ginger Smoothie Dream is so darn tasty it'll have you hollerin' for another round. Imagine the zing of freshly chopped kiwis dancing with the tangy sweetness of oranges, all harmonized by the subtle kick of ginger. Plus, this one's a winner for those notorious banana-haters, 'cause folks, you heard right, no bananas are used! This smoothie ain't just your run-of-the-mill sip; it's a rootin'-tootin' flavour showdown that'll have your taste buds kickin' up their heels in joy whether you're a seasoned vegan or a curious food explorer.

Ingredients
  
  • 3 small kiwis about 1 cup
  • 1 cup cold juice (combination of orange, pomegranate, and hibiscus)
  • 1 cup cold coconut water
  • â…” cup frozen peach or mango
  • â…” cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup chopped kale
  • ½ cup chopped spinach
  • ½ orange (zested and chopped)(about â…” cup)
  • ¼ cup ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger root
  • Sliced orange for garnish

Instructions
 
  • De-fur 3 kiwis, rub two of them together from all angles until all or most of the tiny hairs have fallen off (do this over a sink or compost). Since many of the fruit’s nutrients are in the skin, we recommend keeping the peel on, but removing the little hairs. Roughly chop (makes about 1 cup)

  • In a food processor or blender, add 1 cup each juice (combination of orange, pomegranate, and hibiscus) and cold coconut water, â…” cup each frozen peach and frozen strawberries, about 1 cup roughly chopped, de-furred kiwis, about â…” cup orange slices, ½ cup each chopped kale and spinach, ¼ cup ice cubes, 2 tbsp each chia seeds and sunflower seeds and 1 tbsp each flax seeds and grated ginger root. Blend on high for 3-5 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed with a rubber spatula.

  • Once smooth and creamy, divide into two large glasses and slurp up the deliciousness.
