Mint-Balsamic Dressing
Mint-Balsamic Dressing is a real treasure. The magic lies in the combination of earthy mint, tangy balsamic vinegar, and two secret ingredients — cardamom and cacao nibs. This combination of flavours will take your favourite salad to the next level, making it truly outstanding, leaving you and your compadres craving for more. That’s why, even though this recipe makes enough for one salad, we reckon it’s so good you’ll wanna double it up for double the pleasure.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp orange juice (about half orange)
- 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp chopped mint leaves
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (about ½ lemon)
- 1 tsp cacao nibs or cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- â…› tsp ground cardamom
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions

- Seal and shake until ingredients are well combined, then set aside to intensify the flavours. Shake before using.
Breakout Trick
If you refrigerate the dressing, remove it a few hours before use to allow the oil to liquify properly. Shake before using.
