Smoky Roasted Almonds and Hazelnuts have that bold BBQ taste that is irresistible. These smoky little nuggets don’t hang around long once they hit the table. They’re infused with a kiss of smoked paprika, a dash of spiced garlic, and just enough savoury seasoning to make your taste buds sit up and take notice. Just pop them in the air fryer, and boom, they turn golden, crunchy, and downright addictive with a deep, campfire-style smokiness that keeps you reaching for “just one more.” Quite simply, they are the perfect snack for any time of day, movie nights, or sneaking straight off the tray while they cool (no judgment). Sprinkle them over your salad, toss them into your favourite bowl, or place them in a dish and watch them disappear faster than a bandit at sundown. Crunchy, smoky, and unapologetically bold—these nuts don’t play by bland rules.

  • In a medium bowl, add 1 cup raw almonds and ½ cup raw hazelnuts. In a small bowl add 1½ tsp each olive oil and 1½ tsp coconut aminos, ½ tsp each garlic and herbs seasoning and Spike seasoning, and ¼ tsp salt.
  • Slowly drizzle seasoning over the nuts and toss until the nuts are well coated. Spread the seasoned nuts in a single layer in an air fryer.
  • Air fry at 350°F for 6-8 minutes, or until nuts are cruncy, shaking at the 5-minute mark. Do not overcook. Note, the nuts will crisp up as they cool.
Breakout Trick
For soy-free, use the coconut aminos and not the Bragg soy seasoning.
If you do not have an air fryer, cook in the oven at 350°F for 10–15 minutes, stirring at the 7-minute mark. They’re done when golden and fragrant.
